1. After researching the internet and our textbooks (chapters three and four), students are creating a historically accurate narrative of a fictional character. This is due, with a poster of their person, on Friday, December 19th.
2. The Independent Project is arriving faster than our kids think! They have journal number seven due the Wednesday we get back from Winter Break (January 7th). Their outlines, in MLA form, are due Wednesday, January 14th. These must be typed, double-spaced, and in 12-point font.
3. Cedars' Holiday Party is Thursday, December 18th, at 2:20. It's a potluck. Please, no items with nuts; we have several students that have life-threatening allergies.
4. Read, read, read! The end of the semester is soon approaching. Students need to have read 1000 pages of fiction this semester and journalled to me about it in letter form.
5. Please check your student's grades. We are all a bit frazzled with all we do during the holiday season. A blank space for a grade means I have not received the assignment.
All assignment sheets are posted on Jupiter Grades.
Have a safe and happy holiday season!
